Nepalese bitumen import is set to reach 362,000 kilograms by 2026, growing at a 2.1% year-on-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR). Since 2014, the country's demand for bitumen has grown by almost 100%, with Pakistan overtaking it at 319,000 kilograms in 2021. Egypt, Oman and Canada took second, third and fourth place in the ranking, respectively. In 2017, Nepal's bitumen export came in at 54 kilograms, a decrease from the previous year's total of 115 kilograms.
