Indonesia's bitumen exports dropped to 23 million kilograms in 2021, a decrease of 13.5% from the previous year. Since 1996, exports have declined by 23.4%. Colombia took the lead, with Belgium, Canada, and Trinidad and Tobago following in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. The country's bitumen imports also saw a dramatic decline. In 2018, imports totaled just 3.7 million kilograms, a decrease of 73.7% from the year before. Since 1994, Indonesian demand has dropped by 42%. Mauritania took the lead, with Egypt, Oman, and Canada following in second, third, and fourth place, respectively.
