Burmese bitumen import is expected to reach 87 million kilograms by 2026. This marks a 2.4% increase on an annual basis since 2021, when demand stood at 76 million kilograms. In comparison, the growth rate from 2015-2021 has been 6.8%. In 2021, Ethiopia overtook Burmese demand with 75.6 million kilograms, followed by Egypt, Oman and Canada in positions 2, 3 and 4.
