Filipina's import of bitumen is set to reach 158.8 million kilograms by 2026, up 1.6% year-on-year from the 2021 figure of 144.6 million kilograms. Since 2001, demand for bitumen has grown by 2% year-on-year. In 2021, the country was ranked fifth, with Canada coming out on top at 144.6 million kilograms. Egypt, Oman and Canada came in second, third and fourth respectively. In 2018, Filipina's export of bitumen shot up 11,210%, from 873 kilograms in 2017 to 98,770 kilograms. This placed the country at 48th in the rankings, with South Korea overtaking with 98,770 kilograms. Belgium, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago were ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
