Demand for bitumen in Bahrain is expected to grow 4% year on year on average, reaching 188,970 kilograms in 2026. Imports of the product have grown 63.5% since 2005. In 2021, Bahrain came in 103rd place with 146,930 kilograms, while Brunei was ahead with the same amount. Egypt, Oman and Canada were respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the same ranking. Exports of bitumen from Bahrain rose 12.2% in 2018, reaching 2,347,000 kilograms from 2,092,400 kilograms in 2017. Since 2012, its supply decreased by 22.1% year on year. In 2018, France was ranked first with the same amount, while Belgium, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
