Burundian polyurethane imports saw a dramatic increase of 9,630% in 2018, rising to 6,810 kilograms from just 70 kilograms the year before. Overall, imports have been rising since 1998 with an 80.5% year-on-year increase. Mauritania overtook Burundi to become the 132nd largest importer of polyurethane in 2018, with 6,810 kilograms. India, Germany and Iran took the second, third and fourth spots, respectively.
