Mozambique's imports of polyurethane rose 38.4% in 2018 to 271,400 kilograms, compared to 196,170 kilograms in 2017. This marks a dramatic decrease from the same level in 2005, when the amount amounted to 943,000 kilograms, a drop of 71.7%. Mongolia overtook Mozambique in 2018, ranking number 98 with 271,400 kilograms. India, Germany and Iran followed, respectively taking positions 2, 3 and 4 in the ranking. El Salvador overtook Mozambique in 2018, with 75,030 kilograms, ranking 63. China, Italy and the United States ranked 2, 3 and 4 in the ranking, respectively.
