This equates to a year-on-year average growth rate of 1.5%. Since 1996, imports of Chilean polyurethane have grown at an average rate of 0.3% annually. In 2021, Chile ranked 43rd in the world for polyurethane imports, and was overtaken by Norway. The top three importers were India, Germany, and Iran.
