Guyanese polyurethane imports are estimated to increase to 152,140 kilograms by 2026. This is up from the 138,040 kilograms in 2021, representing a growth of 1.4% year-on-year. Since 2004, demand for polyurethane in Guyana has grown by almost 110%. The country was ranked 113th in 2021, having been overtaken by Ghana. India, Germany and Iran were the top three countries in the ranking, in that order.
