Polyurethane import is expected to hit 12.3 million kilograms by 2026, 1% higher than the 11.4 million kilograms in 2021. Year-on-year demand has increased by 0.1% since 1993. Japan was 32nd in the 2021 global rankings, with the Philippines leading at 11.4 million kilograms. India, Germany and Iran ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
