Korean demand for polyurethane is expected to hit 28.3 million kilograms by 2026, up 1.4% year on year on average. This is an improvement from the 1.3% growth rate recorded since 1993. In 2021, Korea was ranked 21st, with Austria overtaking it with 25.7 million kilograms. India, Germany and Iran placed second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Korean supply of polyurethane is expected to reach 111.7 million kilograms by 2026, a CAGR of 2.8% year on year. Since 1993, Korean supply has increased 4.2% year on year. In 2021, the country ranked sixth, with the Netherlands overtaking it with 93.4 million kilograms. China, Italy and the United States placed second, third and fourth, respectively.
