2020 saw a 5.8% decrease compared to 2017. Zambian polyurethane import is projected to fall by 4% annually over the next five years. In 2021, the country ranked 108th, with 156,460 kilograms imported. This was less than Bolivia, which overtook them in 2021. India, Germany and Iran held the top three positions in the same ranking. Supply of polyurethane in Zambia has seen strong growth since 2006, increasing by over 100% year on year. However, 2020 saw a 5.8% decrease compared to 2017. By 2026, the import of polyurethane into Zambia is expected to reach around 125,000 kilograms.
