Beninese polyurethane import skyrocketed 85.6% in 2018, reaching 2,690 kilograms compared to 1,450 kilograms imported in 2017. This surge has bucked a trend that began in 2003, when the country's demand for polyurethane had decreased 43.5% year-on-year. In 2018, Benin came in at number 134, overtaken by Bermuda which imported 2,690 kilograms. India, Germany and Iran ranked second, third and fourth in the ranking respectively.
