Slovenia was the 37th largest exporter of polyurethane in 2021; Indonesia led the field with 1.8 million kilograms. China, Italy, and the U.S. followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. Since 1999, Slovene demand for polyurethane has increased by 4.5% per year. In 2018, Slovenia was the 64th largest market for the material; Albania was first with 3.3 million kilograms. India, Germany, and Iran were the second, third, and fourth largest importers, respectively.
