India is set to experience a rise in Polyurethane exports and imports over the coming years. Exports are forecast to reach 27.7 million kilograms by 2026, growing at an average rate of 3.5% year-on-year since 1993. India ranked 16th in 2021, with Malaysia taking the highest position at 22.2 million kilograms. China, Italy and the US were the next three largest players. Imports are expected to grow by 3.8% annually, reaching 184.4 million kilograms by 2026. India was second in 2021, with China leading the pack at 145.2 million kilograms. India, Germany and Iran were the next three largest importers.
