Burmese demand for polyurethane imports is set to grow 2.7% per year, reaching a total of 1.49 million kilograms by 2026. In 2021, Burmese imports of polyurethane stood at 1.25 million kilograms, ranking 79th in the world. Bosnia and Herzegovina ranked ahead of Burma with 1.25 million kilograms. India, Germany, and Iran followed as the second, third and fourth-largest importers, respectively. Since 2015, Burmese demand for polyurethane imports has decreased by 1.1% annually.
