Meanwhile, imports of Polyurethane are expected to decrease by 1% to 14.2 million kilograms in 2026 from 14.8 million kilograms in 2021. This would mark a 0.4% decline since 1994. South Africa was the leading importer of the product in 2021, at 14.8 million kilograms, with India, Germany and Iran following in the rankings.
