Portugal's imports of dried fruit are on the rise. This year, they are estimated to reach $25 million, up 3.5% from 2021. Since 1993, demand has increased 18.2% annually. In 2021, Portugal was in 27th place, overtaken by Finland at $19.6 million. Germany, the UK and China followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Exports of Portuguese dried fruit are also expected to increase, reaching $2 million by 2026, a 2.6% rise from 2021. Since 1993, supplies have risen 31.6% each year. Last year, Portugal was in 53rd place, with Russia in first place at $1.7 million. Germany, the US and Chile were in second, third and fourth place respectively.
