In 2021, Brazil was the 58th largest importer of caviar, with Ecuador leading the way at 10,790 kilograms. Japan, South Korea and the United States ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. In 2017, Brazilian caviar exports rocketed 700%, from 10 kilograms in 2016 to 80 kilograms. Since then, supply has grown 46.1% annually. Brazil was the 35th largest exporter in 2017, with Mexico in the lead at 80 kilograms. Japan, the United States and Germany came 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
