Ecuador is poised to see a steady increase in its caviar imports over the next few years. According to recent estimates, the country is set to reach 13,240 kilograms by 2026. This marks an average growth of 3.2% year on year since 1996. In 2021, Ecuador was number 57 on the global caviar imports list, with 10,800 kilograms. Saudi Arabia came in first place with the same amount. Japan, South Korea, and the United States followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. In 2018, Ecuador was at 46th place, while Slovenia overtook it with 2,290 kilograms. China, Kazakhstan, and Germany ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively.
