This marks an average year-on-year growth rate of 3.6%, which has been driven by a 14.6% increase since 1993. Portugal was ranked 33rd in 2021, behind Slovakia's 71,700 kilograms. Japan, South Korea, and the United States were the leading importers of caviar worldwide.
