Dutch imports of caviar are forecast to rise to 156,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 144,000 kilograms in 2021. This would represent an average annual growth rate of 1.1%. Since 1997, demand for caviar has grown by an average of 1.5% per year. The Netherlands came in at 26th in the 2021 rankings, with Estonia ahead at 144,000 kilograms. Japan, South Korea and the United States respectively placed second, third and fourth. Exports of Dutch caviar are expected to reach 243,000 kilograms by 2026, up from 199,000 in 2021. This would represent an average annual growth rate of 3.1%. Since 1997, Dutch supply has increased by an average of 14.6% per year. The Netherlands was 17th in the 2021 rankings, with Lithuania overtaking at 199,000 kilograms. China, Kazakhstan and Germany respectively placed second, third and fourth.
