The Netherlands is set to see a steady growth in the import and export of ammunition over the next five years. In 2021, Dutch imports of ammunition stood at 1.2 million kilograms, up 18.8% from 1997. This placed the country in sixth place globally, behind Senegal in fifth place with 1.2 million kilograms. Slovakia, France and Spain ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Exports of ammunition from the Netherlands are also projected to see steady growth, reaching 202,730 kilograms by 2026. This represents an increase of 3.9% year-on-year on average. Since 1997, Dutch exports have risen 111.1%.
