Qatari imports of ammunition dropped sharply in 2018, down 40.9% from 1,170 kilograms to 691 kilograms, according to data from the United Nations. This is a steep decline from 2009, when the country imported 1,818 kilograms of ammunition, a fall of 62.1%. Qatar ranked 76th in the world in 2018, and Ghana was ahead with 691 kilograms. Slovakia, France and Spain ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
