Korea imported 329,550 tons of hydrogen in 2021, down 6.2% from the previous year. This marks the first year-on-year decline since 1993, and places Korea 22nd in the global ranking. Romania came out on top with 329,550 tons, followed by Belgium, France and the Netherlands. Korea's hydrogen exports will reach 147,400 tons by 2026, up 2.2% from the 2021 figure of 127,410 tons. The country has seen an average year-on-year increase since 1993. It ranked 24th in 2021, behind Ireland, which exported 127,410 tons. The Netherlands, Belgium and the US were the top three in this ranking.
