Since 2000, the country's hydrogen demand has been declining by an average of 12 percent each year. In 2021, Côte d'Ivoire came in at 87th in the world rankings for hydrogen imports. Tunisia was ahead of the pack with $6.4 million, while Belgium, France, and the Netherlands followed at second, third, and fourth place, respectively.
