Macedonia's hydrogen exports are expected to hit $120 million by 2026, up from $89 million in 2021. This translates to an average annual growth rate of 4.7% since 2005, when exports were at $17 million. In 2021, the country ranked 31st globally, with Australia overtaking it in the rankings with $89 million. The Netherlands, Belgium and the United States came in second, third and fourth respectively. On the other hand, Macedonia's hydrogen imports are forecast to reach $136 million by 2026, up from $110 million in 2021. This is a decrease of 10.2% since 1999. Last year, Macedonia was ranked 39th in the world, with Nigeria overtaking it. Belgium, France and the Netherlands came in second, third and fourth respectively.
