Belgium’s import of naphtha is set to reach 488,000 metric tons by January 2022, down 20.1% from 423,000 metric tons in December 2021. This is a decrease of 2.5% compared to January 2014. Belgium’s export of naphtha is expected to reach 163,000 terajoules by 2026, increasing 3.9% year on year. This would be a 23.3% increase since 1995. Belgium was the second largest exporter of naphtha in 2021, behind France with 125,000 terajoules. France, Belgium, and Norway were the top three exporters.
