Italy's naphtha imports decreased by nearly 24% in January 2022 compared to December 2021, reaching 105,000 metric tons. This is 11.3% lower than the demand in January 2014. Exports of naphtha from Italy are forecast to reach 48,490 terajoules by 2026, with a 0.2% year-on-year growth rate. This is 7.4% lower than the supply in 1995. Italy ranks sixth in terms of naphtha exports, with Spain overtaking it in 2021 at 45,940 terajoules. France, Belgium and Norway occupied second, third and fourth places respectively in this ranking.
