Czech imports of naphtha saw an impressive surge in November 2021, reaching 23,000 metric tons. This represents a 283% increase on the 5,000 metric tons imported in October 2021 and a 35.7% increase on the previous year. Czech naphtha exports, however, are set to drop 20.7% year on year on average by 2026, reaching 230 terajoules. This is a 46.1% drop since 1995, when the country was ranked number 20 in the world. Hungary was the top exporter in 2021, with France, Belgium and Norway coming in second, third and fourth respectively.
