Iran's beer production is projected to decline slightly over the next five years. By 2028, the country's output is expected to drop to approximately 120,000 metric tons, down from around 122,000 metric tons in 2023. This represents an average annual decrease of 0.2%. Despite this forecasted decline, Iran's beer production has seen significant growth over the decades. Since 1966, the country's supply has increased by an average of 11.8% each year. In the global context, Iran ranked 91st in beer production in 2023, with Slovenia just ahead, producing the same 122,000 metric tons. The leading beer producers were the United States, Brazil, and Mexico, holding the second, third, and fourth spots respectively.
