Since 1994, the country's demand for the commodity has risen 5.6% year-on-year. In 2021, Paraguay was ranked 98th in the world for natural rubber imports, with El Salvador overtaking it with a total of $76,170. The United States, Malaysia and Japan followed in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
