German imports of natural rubber are expected to drop to around $291 million by 2026, down 6% from 2021's figure of $418 million. Since 1996, German demand has decreased by an average of 2.7% each year. In 2021, South Korea was the largest importer of natural rubber, with the United States, Malaysia and Japan coming in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Similarly, German exports of natural rubber are forecast to decrease to $54 million by 2026, a 9.9% drop from 2021's figure of $98 million. Since 1996, German supply has decreased annually by an average of 8.7%. Guatemala was the largest exporter of natural rubber in 2021, with Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Malaysia coming in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
