The United Arab Emirates overtook Ecuador as the number 54 exporter in 2021. Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Malaysia followed, respectively ranking 2, 3 and 4. Meanwhile, Ecuador's import of natural rubber is forecasted to drop 7.2% by 2026, reaching $3,976,900. This is a 3.9% decline compared to 1996. Australia moved ahead as the number 49 importer in 2021. The United States, Malaysia and Japan followed, respectively ranking 2, 3 and 4.
