Ghana's imports of natural rubber dropped significantly in 2018, falling 53.3% from the previous year. Since 2001, demand has decreased by almost 20%. Ghana was ranked 115th, behind Mozambique's import of $22,890. The United States, Malaysia and Japan were the top three importers. Meanwhile, Ghanaian exports of natural rubber decreased by 22.7%, to total $58.6 million. Since 2001, Ghana's supply has grown by 7.3%. The country was ranked 16th, behind Cameroon's export of $58.6 million. Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Malaysia were the top three exporters.
