Macedonian imports of natural rubber decreased 15.6% in 2021, compared to the previous year. Imports totaled $8,300, down from $9,830 in 2020. The country ranked 122nd in the world for rubber imports, with Malawi overtaking it to take the lead. The United States, Malaysia and Japan came in second, third and fourth respectively. Since 1999, Macedonian demand for natural rubber has grown by an average of 5.8% year on year.
