Saudi Arabia's import and export of natural rubber is set to reach a total of $4.18 million in 2026. This is a decrease of 7.1 percent from 2021, when the total natural rubber imports and exports was $3.81 million. Since 1996, imports and exports of natural rubber have decreased by an average of 21.1 percent per year. In 2021, Ecuador overtook Saudi Arabia as the leading importer of natural rubber, with $3.81 million, while the United States, Malaysia and Japan came in second, third and fourth place respectively. On the export side, Saudi Arabia's exports of natural rubber fell to $1.7 million in 2021, down 5.4 percent from 2020. Since 1996, exports have decreased by an average of 18.8 percent per year. South Korea was the leading exporter in 2021, followed by Indonesia, Ivory Coast and Malaysia.
