Peru's diamond import and export are set to reach new heights by 2026. According to estimates, Peruvian diamond import is expected to reach around $2.4 million by 2026, a 3.8% year-on-year growth from 2021's $1.9 million. This marks a steady 11.5% growth since 1997. In 2021, the country ranked 55th in diamond imports, with Slovenia slightly ahead at $1.9 million. The United States, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates were the top three importers respectively. Peru's diamond export was also on the rise, from $117 million in 2015 to $1.97 million in 2016.
