Mexican diamond imports decreased by 37.1% in 2021, reaching $9.3 million. This is the lowest level of demand since 1995, which saw a drop of 38.1%. Mexico ranks 41st in this sector, overtaken by Laos with $9.3 million. The top three countries are the United States, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates. Diamond exports from Mexico totalled $71 million in 2015, a 6.6% increase from 2014’s figure of $67 million.
