Zimbabwe's diamond exports are projected to drop to around $32 million by 2026, a 12.7% decrease from 2021's figure of $69 million. Since 2000, Zimbabwe's diamond supply has decreased by 10.2% year-on-year. In 2021, the country ranked 24th in diamond exports, with Mauritius leading the way at $69 million. The United States, Belgium and Israel came in second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Zimbabwe's diamond imports are set to grow 3.2% year-on-year to reach $12 million by 2026. Since 2006, demand has increased by 236% year-on-year. In 2021, Zimbabwe was 39th in diamond imports, behind Sweden at $9.8 million. The United States, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates took the second, third and fourth spots on the list.
