Norwegian diamond exports are expected to reach $1.5 million by 2026, a 4.4% increase from 2021. Since 1998, exports have grown 37.4% year-on-year. Norway was ranked 41st in 2021, overtaken by Greece with $1.19 million. The US, Belgium and Israel finished ahead of Norway in the rankings, in that order. Imports of diamonds into Norway are forecast to reach $7.18 million by 2026, with a 0.2% rise from 2021. Since 1998, imports have decreased 1.1% year-on-year. Norway was ranked 42nd in 2021, behind Mexico with $7.12 million. The US, Belgium and the United Arab Emirates respectively topped the rankings.
