France leads the pack with 90.643 million global inbound overnight visitors in 2024, showing a minor growth of 0.29% year-on-year (YoY) from 2023. Spain follows closely with 89.248 million visitors, up by 1.51% YoY. Italy ranks third with 71.481 million visitors, reflecting a healthy growth rate of 3.03% YoY. The United Kingdom saw a modest increase of 1.63% to 41.918 million visitors. Portugal experienced a significant surge of 66.1% YoY, reaching 29.698 million visitors.

In other regions, Canada received 22.87 million visitors, a slight uptick of 1.59% YoY. Hungary and Indonesia both documented minor increases in visitor numbers, reaching 17.436 million and 17.037 million, respectively. Denmark showed a notable rise of 5.6%, garnering 16.74 million visitors. The Czech Republic experienced a modest growth of 1.63% to 15.485 million visitors, while Morocco saw 13.493 million visitors, reflecting an increase of 1.89%.

South Africa had a slight increase of 1.57%, reaching 11.322 million visitors. Ireland, Peru, Lithuania, Iceland, and Latvia all experienced modest growth ranging from 1.51% to 2.31%. Notably, Chile witnessed a significant decline with a -16.63% drop, bringing its total visitors down to 2.1414 million.
