Ni-Vanuatu's pesticide consumption is predicted to remain steady over the next five years. Last year, the country consumed 131 metric tons of pesticides - the same as in 1995. It ranked 118th in the world, just behind Samoa at 131 metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Argentina were the world's top three consumers, respectively.
