Dutch pesticide imports are forecast to increase by 0.6% yearly until 2026, reaching 74,210 metric tons. This will be an 8.6% increase since 1997. The Czech Republic was the leading importer in 2021 with 71,670 metric tons, while Thailand, Germany and Taiwan followed. In 2017, Dutch pesticide exports totaled 331.44 metric tons, up 314.9% year-on-year from 79.89 metric tons in 2016. Since 1997, exports have declined 43.8%. In 2017, Peru led the way with 79.89 metric tons, while India, the Netherlands and Mexico followed.
