Canada was the 32nd highest importer in 2018, while Ireland took the lead. Thailand, Germany, and Taiwan followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively. Export of Canadian pesticide products rose 31.1% in 2018 compared to the year before, to 2.97 metric tons. Since 1995, supply has increased by 11% year on year. Canada was the 22nd largest exporter in 2018, with Switzerland coming in first. Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UK followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
