Indonesia overtook Taiwan in 2021, ranking 8th with 172,010 metric tons. Germany, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom ranked second, third and fourth in 2021, respectively. Taiwanese pesticide imports are expected to reach 324,840 metric tons by 2026, up 2% year-on-year from 2021's 288,120 metric tons. Since 2002, Taiwanese demand has grown 1.5% year-on-year. Germany overtook Taiwan in 2021, ranking fourth with 288,120 metric tons. Thailand, Germany and Taiwan ranked second, third and fourth in 2021, respectively.
