Pesticide consumption in Zimbabwe is set to drop by an average of 2.5% every year over the next five years, decreasing from 2,040 metric tons this year to 1,750 by 2026. Since 1995, pesticide use in Zimbabwe has declined by 1.4% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 70th in pesticide consumption, with Panama coming in at number one with 2,040 metric tons. The United States, Brazil and Argentina took the next three spots.
