In 2021, the country ranked 51st, behind Bulgaria with 6,210 metric tons. The United States, Brazil, and Argentina came in second, third, and fourth, respectively. Pesticide imports to Algeria dropped to 0.06 metric tons in 2016, from 0.26 metric tons the previous year.
