Since 2005, the country's demand has decreased by 11.8% year-on-year. In 2018, Singapore came first in the ranking, with Thailand, Germany and Taiwan in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Meanwhile, South African pesticide supply has gone down 62.1% since 2007. The country was 30th in the world in 2018, with Australia leading the ranking at 0.02 metric tons. Germany, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom respectively followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place.
