Namibia is expected to maintain its position as the 129th highest consumer of pesticide in the world. The country has not seen any change in its pesticide consumption since 1995. Meanwhile, Yemen overtook Namibia with 56 metric tons of pesticide consumption in 2021. The United States, Brazil and Argentina followed on the list with 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. Namibia's pesticide import decreased from 0.02 metric tons in 2013 to 0.01 metric tons in 2014.
